The International Juvenile Justice Observatory, conjointly with its European branch, the European Juvenile Justice Observatory.The EU Agenda for the Rights of the Child aims to reinforce the full commitment of the EU - as enshrined in the Treaty of Lisbon and the Charter of Fundamental Rights - to promote, protect and fulfill the rights of the child in all relevant EU policies and actions. This agenda includes 11 concrete actions where the EU can contribute effectively to children's safety.

Maria Cristiana Gambarota. Founder of Gambarota Studiolex located in Rome and Bologna. Graduated with high honors in Law from La Sapienza University in Rome. Her thesis on civil law was discussed with Prof. Natalino Irti. She is admitted to the Italian Bar and is authorized to practice before the Supreme Court. Specialized in matters of civil law, including, Matrimonial and Family Patrimony Law, Paternity Recognition, Inheritance and, above all, is an expert forerunner in Minor Law, Adoptions.

The European Court of Justice, the Court of Justice, is the highest court in the European Union in matters of European Union law. As a part of the Court of Justice of the European Union it is tasked with interpreting EU law and ensuring its equal application across all EU member states.
